Board of Directors
EDWDD is governed by a nine-member Board of Directors. The directors are elected to represent separate areas within the District. Director areas are allocated solely according to population. The directors serve terms of four years, with staggered elections held every other year in line with the state general election cycle.

Vincent Flemming - Director Area 1: representing the cities of Webster, Waubay, Grenville, and Roslyn in Day County; Liberty, Nutley, Kosciusko, Waubay, Racine, Webster, Raritan, Grenville, Rusk, Morton, Central Point, Highland, Wheatland, and Egeland townships in Day County; the cities of Henry, Florence, Wallace, and Watertown in Codington County; and Eden, Dexter, Phipps, Fuller, Graceland, Richland, Lake, Elmira, Henry, Kampeska, Pelican, Sheridan, Germantown, and Rauville townships in Codington County;


John Weidler - Director Area 2: representing all of Grant, Deuel, Hamlin, and Kingsbury Counties; the cities of South Shore and Kranzburg in Codington County; Leola, Waverly, and Kranzburg townships in Codington County; the city of Ramona in Lake County; Herman, Winfred, Wayne, Orland, Farmington, Clarno, Badus, and Concord townships in Lake County; the cities of Vilas, Howard, and Canova in Miner County; and Belleview, Vermillion, Howard, Henden, Grafton, Clearwater, Adams, and Canova townships in Miner County;


Roger Scheibe - Director Area 3: representing all of Brookings County;


Martin Jarrett - Director Area 4: representing all of Moody County; the cities of Madison, Wentworth, and Nunda in Lake County; Summit, Rutland, Nunda, Le Roy, Lake View, Wentworth, Franklin, and Chester townships in Lake County; and Sioux Falls voting precincts VP-07, VP-09, VP-10, VP-11, VP-12, and VP-13;


Curt Eggers - Director Area 5: representing the Sioux Falls voting precincts VP-4, 4-13, 4-1, 4-5, 3-5, 4-6, VP-3&5, 5-1, 5-15, and 5-2;


Kay Kassube - Director Area 6: representing the Sioux Falls voting precincts VP-17, VP-08, 3-9, VP-6, 3-14, 3-15, VP-16, 1-8, 3-12, 3-11, 3-10, 1-10, 1-15, 1-6, 1-9, and 3-13;
